X20

The X20 console provides operators with a variety of tools to increase productivity, reduce fuel and input cost, and improve environmental control. The X20 is a completely integrated controller with modular software designed to control every aspect of agricultural operations: autosteering and guidance, spraying, seeding, planting, fertilizing, spreading, with autosection and variable rate control.  The all-in-one controller simplifies operation and reduces cabin clutter.

The X20 system provides monitoring and control of agricultural tasks:

• Up to five bin/tank one-pass variable rate seeding/planting applications (including granular, liquid and NH3 control
• Up to 30 boom autosection sprayer control
• Precise chemical control and application
• Complete documentation at every stage of operation

The X20 console features a super-bright, touch screen for ease of operation. Using Windows XP® operating system, the X20 provides flexibility to integrate other applications such as wireless networking for connectivity to progressive farm management systems.

Operators can start with a simple, screen-based manual guidance system and quickly and easily upgrade with additional controllers.

In field tests and farm application studies, using precision guidance with variable rate application has been proven to save up to 20-30 percent on fertilizer and chemicals, as well as  10 percent or more in fuel costs due to fewer passes.
