X20 Weather Station

The X20 Weather Station module combines ultrasonic and humidity sensors to provide continuous weather data to the X20 console, enabling the operator to view important weather conditions while performing critical applications such as spraying or spreading. The reliable solid state sensors mean there are no moving parts to maintain.

The X20 Weather Station measures apparent wind speed and direction, air temperature and relative humidity. The X20 software (using speed and direction from a GPS receiver input) calculates true wind speed and direction.

Only a GPS controlled weather station can provide you with this information. With the X20's integrated mapping capabilities, weather and coverage maps can be recorded, printed and stored
for important record keeping.

Spray When Conditions Are Right

The X20 Guidance software uses relative humidity and temperature data to continuously calculate actual Delta T values. Delta T is interactively displayed in the status bar of the main guidance window. This allows you to only spray when the conditions are right for the intended application. Audio alarms can be set to alert the operator and help avoid spraying in undesirable out-of-range weather conditions.

Weather Maps

With the X20's GDX Viewer, detailed maps and reports of weather conditions by location and date/time can be viewed, printed or copied onto a thumb-drive and exported to other farm management software. X20 Guidance automatically logs the information from the X20 Weather Station and saves the data along with the guidance coverage map.

Easy to Use

The X20 Weather Station software integrates fully with the X20 providing the same intuitive interface and ease of use.

• Provides convenient status-bar display of temperature, relative humidity, Delta T, and windspeed
• Wind direction and vehicle heading are displayed on a compass shown in the main guidance coverage map area

Installation Requirements

The X20 Weather Station can be used with all X20's having serial number A2010060492 or greater. For earlier models a special modification is required. Contact your Topcon Precision Agriculture dealer for more information. The X20 Weather Station kit includes an adjustable mounting pole and harness. The Weather Station is simple to install, however we recommend installation by a trained, authorised Topcon installer.
